***2021-2022 Registration Information***

If you are attending Causey Middle School for the 2021-22 school year, online registration must be completed by May 28, 2021. In doing that, we need to ensure that you are in our district. Be sure to upload your mortgage or lease and a current utility bill when prompted. A comprehensive list of provisions for determining residence of students can be found here. If you are unable to upload your documents, email them to causeyregistration@mcpss.com. Include your child’s name in the email. Once your documents are verified, registration will be complete.

Registration MUST be complete in order for your child to receive a schedule.

If you do not have proofs in your name, you will need to complete the enrollment assessment process here this summer. More information will be sent home with their 4th quarter report cards.

Onsite Registration –

 August 2nd (6th grade) 8:00 to 11:00 (Last Names: A-L); (6th grade) 12:30 to 3:00 (Last Names: M-Z)

 August 3rd (7th grade) 8:00 to 11:00; (8th grade) 12:30 to 3:00 

 August 4th (all new students to the district) 8:00 to 11:00 

 

Camp Causey- July 21st and 22nd (6th graders only) 8:00 to 12:00 daily

Uniform Information

Top: Girls

 

2020-2021 Colors: 6th Gray; 7th White; 8th Navy

*No logos except Causey Middle School

*Traditional polo/golf type shirt--no more than 3 buttons, must have a collar, straight or banded sleeves

*Shirts must be tucked in and collars must be visible.

*Undershirts are to be solid--Navy, White, Black or Gray

Bottom: Girls

 

2020-2021 Pants/Capris/Shorts—Tan/Khaki

*Uniform style, straight-leg; must be hemmed no ruffled, frayed, cut, or torn edges.

*No jeans, denim, corduroy, patch pockets, decorated pockets, watch pockets, cargo, painter, flare legs, low cut, joggers, spandex, leggings, jeggings, or low rise pants

*Pants must be worn at waist line—No sagging, oversized or extremely tight pants

*Short length cannot be shorter than 2 inches above the knee

*Pants must have belt loops

* No elastic around the cuffs of the pants is allowed


Top: Boys

Shoes

2020-2021 *Athletic shoes/tennis shoes only

*No sandals, open toe, open back, platform shoes, boots, moccasins, Crocs, ballerina/baby doll style slippers or slides


Outerwear: Male/Female

2020-2021 *Only solid gray and navy jackets will be allowed

*Causey Middle School outerwear only

*No Baker or other schools or colleges will be represented

*No hoodies or jackets with hoods are to be worn on campus


    Additional Notes

     

    2020-2021 *ID Badges must be worn at all times attached to the student’s collar with picture visible

    *Replacement will be sold for 5 dollars

    Jewelry/Hair/Accessories

    *No bandannas of any color

    *No fanny packs of any kind

    *No hats, sweat bands or head covering

    *No head bands over 3 inches in width

    *Head bands cannot have any logos or hang below the hairline

    *No excessive makeup or ear rings that expand the ear lobe

    *Hair color must be natural, out of eyes, and non-distracting

    *No tongue rings, nose rings, facial or distracting jewelry

    *No tattoos

    **When non-uniform or other contraband items are confiscated, they may be retrieved by a parent or guardian. Please contact your grade level administrator for pickup time.
