Our Tigers continue to grow and excel each year, and this score reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. We’re especially proud of:
• An increase in our overall score from 83 to 85
• Higher academic achievement
• A significant decrease in chronic absenteeism
• Increased proficiency in ELA, math, and science
• Growth in English language proficiency among our ELL students
• Steady improvement every year post-COVID

Earlier this week Ms. Burnette's 6th graders were hard at work together finding textual evidence to include in their essays. Text evidence = essay power! Our students are learning how to make their writing stronger by proving their points with details from the text.

Mrs. Smith’s 7th graders got into the Halloween spirit with suspenseful pass-around stories! Students worked together to build spooky tales one paragraph at a time using figurative language & story elements, voted on their table’s best story, & shared them with the class. The winning table earned a Halloween treat for their chilling creativity!
