This week, May 2nd–6th, Mrs. Boltz’s class proudly celebrated Warburg Micro Syndrome Awareness Week by wearing neon yellow to help raise awareness and support for our amazing student, Viktor! 💛
Warburg Micro Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that can affect a child’s vision, development, muscle tone, and learning abilities. Children with this syndrome often face many challenges, but they also show incredible strength, perseverance, and resilience every single day.
We are so proud of Viktor and all the progress he continues to make in our classroom. He works hard, brings joy to those around him, and reminds us daily that every child can learn, grow, and succeed in their own unique way.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in wearing neon yellow and helping spread awareness, inclusion, and kindness throughout our school community! #WarburgMicroSyndromeAwareness #InclusionMatters #MDJProud #CelebrateDifferences 💛

Mrs. Helton's Pre-K class made an art project for our fabulous music teacher, Mr. Medina. We would like to display their hard work. Each music note is a different student's hand print and they wrote each note to the tune of "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Their project touched Mr. Medina's heart and brought the biggest smile to his face.

Last week our 1st graders shared how they are building fluency one poem at a time.  Each class had their time to shine by reciting poetry to a small audience. We are so proud of their hard work and we would like to thank their parents/guardians for practicing nightly with these students to ensure their success. #allin10 #LearningLeading #PerseverancePropelsProgress #MJEchampions

🌎🦋 Earth Day Fun in Mrs. Boltz’s Class! 🦋🌎

Today was such an exciting day in Mrs. Boltz’s class as we celebrated Earth Day while learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly!

Our students have been patiently observing and learning each stage—and today was the best surprise yet… our butterflies hatched! 🦋 Watching this transformation come to life was such a special moment for our kiddos.

To continue our Earth Day celebration, we took learning outside and went on a scavenger hunt in our outdoor classroom! Students explored nature, made connections to what we’ve been learning, and enjoyed the beauty of the world around them. 🌿🌸

It was a day full of hands-on learning, excitement, and appreciation for nature! 💚
