Mobile County Public Schools is launching a new communication tool for parents. It’s called Rooms, and it allows you to connect directly with your child’s teachers for important messages and announcements.

To access Rooms, we highly recommend that you download the new Mobile County Public Schools app on your Apple iOS or Android. Otherwise, you can access it via a web browser at: id.thrillshare.com.

Rooms helps you stay in touch with your child’s teachers as well as sponsors and coaches of the activities and sports that your child participates in, all in one place. You’ll be able to read messages and announcements from your teacher, send messages to your teacher, and receive important information and reminders about your child's classes and activities.

To log in to Rooms via the Mobile County Public Schools app:

1. Click on the Rooms tab at the bottom of your screen.

2. Sign in with the phone number or email address that you used to register your child.

3. The app will verify that you are registered as a custodial parent or guardian by sending a code.

   If you do not remember your email password, use the cell phone number entered during registration, and the app will text your code.

4. Once you are logged in, you can choose how and when to receive notifications. You can also select your preferred language.

If you are unable to log in, contact your child’s school to make sure your registration information is up to date.

Meanwhile, on the app, make sure you select the school(s) that your children attend to get a more personalized experience. You'll be able to get important news and updates, see a calendar of events, view lunch menus, and more. You will also be able to access your children's grades and attendance on the app by clicking on "More" at the bottom and then on the My PowerHub link.
